Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Maple Magic

Be in the right place on Earth at the right time of year to experience the magic of maple with all your senses. See and hear the sap drip, smell the fresh, hot syrup and hold the tools of the maple trade. Start indoors, proceed to the sap collection and return to taste the rite of spring, maple sugar! This program is suitable for all ages. Cost is $10/person. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 during nature center hours or register online.
