City Of Southfield - Rummell Relief Drain Repairs


The project consists of approximately 600 lineal feet of ditch stabilization along the Rummell Relief Drain open channel. Bio-engineering techniques and best management practices to control bank erosion will be used. The estimated project cost is $400,000. Glenn Appel, P.E., Assistant Chief Engineer, is the Water Resources Office project engineer assigned to the project. A summer 2010 bid date is scheduled. A consulting engineer has not been selected for the project at this time. The project will be financed with local funds.
