Eleven governments representing 15 communities in Oakland County have come together to provide residents a safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW). 

These communities form The North Oakland Household Hazardous Waste Consortium (NO HAZ).  The NO HAZ Consortium's goal is to provide regular, reliable and easily accessible HHW collection services to its residents.

*Update!!  The NO HAZ program has reached the landmark of collecting over 1 million pounds of HHW!  Over a half million pounds were collected in 2008 alone!  Thank you for your participation and efforts to continue to properly dispose your HHW items.  NO HAZ looks forward to continued growth and an even more successful future!
