Mario Ramirez

4/17/1943-1/16/1967 Age 23

Mr. Ramirez was from Pontiac Michigan. He was a Sergeant assigned as a fire team leader in Vietnam.  On January 16th, 1967 he was riding on top of an Armored Personnel Carrier in the lead vehicle when an explosive device was detonated.  He was hit by a piece of shrapnel and died on the medevac helicopter. He was 23 years old at the time of his death.
