Sergeant Paul Workman

I have been involved with the military for almost 17 years.  I currently hold the rank of First Lieutenant.  I am the Headquarters Company Commander with the 783rd Military Police Battalion.  I have held positions in several fields including: Infantryman, Military Police Officer, Corrections Specialist, Military Police Investigator, and Chemical Officer.  I became an officer right after 9-11. I was not deployed overseas in support of the fight on terrorism, I instead attended a Chemical Officer Training Course that lasted 5 months in order to handle the effects of WMD.  Fortunately, WMD never became the hot bed issue we thought it would become. My current unit is scheduled for a possible deployment this year.

Please note, that I appreciate all the county has done and continues to do for those who serve.  I have talked to, and become friends with, several of the men and woman in this department who were willing to put their lives on the line.  To them I express my thanks and to the county I express my gratitude for supporting them.
