Deputy Kevin Thomas

I have 24 years of service, 13 of which are active duty.  My active duty assignments include: Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Korea, two tours at Fort Hood, Texas, and Germany.  While on active duty, I was deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operations Desert Shield.  My active duty service was terminated on February 15, 1994.  My current rank is Sergeant First Class.

I joined the Army Reserves in 1999 where I served as a Drill Sergeant.  My duties as a Drill Sergeant were to train initial entry soldiers basic military training.  I was deployed from March 2004 to March 2006 to Fort Benning, Georgia, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraq Freedom.

Awards Include: The Army Commendation Medal, three Army Achievement Medals, six Army Good Conduct Medals, four Army Reserve Achievement Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, three Professional Development Ribbons, Overseas Service Ribbon, Drill Sergeant Badge, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Expert Infantry Badge.

Achievements Include:  Soldier of the Month, Non-Commission Officer of the Month, Drill Sergeant of the Cycle.
