The jail is east of the County Courthouse (1200 Building)
Effective December 5, 2007, Inmate Visitation will be relocated to the front entrance of the jail, north of the current visitation entrance. Signs will lead to Inmate Visitation and Information.
Along with the location change, a new inmate visiting procedure will occur, with inmate visits scheduled on an APPOINTMENT BASIS ONLY. The inmate will submit a visiting request at least 3 days prior to the requested visit, to allow time for processing. Visitors are not allowed to schedule visits.
When a visiting appointment is confirmed, it is the inmate's responsibility to notify the visitor of the scheduled appointment. Only ONE VISITOR is allowed per visit. Visitation appointment times during the temporary relocation will be 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, and 7:30pm. There are NO maximum security inmate visits at 4:30pm or 5:30pm.

Inmate Visits Rules and Regulations
At the time of classification, each inmate may complete a visiting list. All visitors names must appear on the list to be permitted a visit with an inmate.
All visitors are required to properly identify themselves by presenting a valid I.D. There are no exceptions.
No persons under the age of 18 are allowed to visit.
All visitors will be searched by a pat-down search before entry into the inmate visiting area. Visitors are subject to a search at any time during or at the conclusion of the visit.
All visitors are required to remove all outer wear including head covering such as headbands, scarves, and hats. Any hair accessories containing metal parts must be removed. Personal items must be placed in a storage locker.
No inappropriate attire may be worn inside the secured area.
All visits are one-half hour in length.
No physical contact between an inmate and a visitor is permitted.
No visitors will be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or exhibit loud or disruptive behavior.
A visit may be denied or teminated if any of the above mentioned rules are not followed
Inmate are allowed one visit per week. Trustys are allowed two visits per week.
Children will not be left unattended in the lobby.
Active probationers, parolees, or individuals on any form of conditional court or institutional release programs must have the permission of the supervising authority to visit a specific inmate.
