On Tuesday, April 12, 2005 from 4-7pm, please join The Oakland County Library Board and Research Library Staff in welcoming The Oakland County Genealogical Society to their new home.

In January, 2005 the Oakland County Genealogical Society (OCGS) relocated from Troy public library to the Oakland County Research Library.  The Society was established in 1977.  Since that time it has collected, published and safeguarded public and private genealogical records unique to Oakland County.  The Society has also provided instruction in the science of genealogical research through its many meetings and workshops.
