The purpose of the Victim Services division is to provide crime victims with support and an assurance that their legal rights are being represented.

Victim Services support staff provide victims with notice of all court dates and thorough explanations of each proceeding. 

Support staff also accompany victims to court hearings and offer emotional support to the victim and family members.  Assistance in applying for financial reimbursement from the state is also provided to victims, as are referrals for counseling, housing or other necessary services.

We strive to assist in protecting the rights of victims and their families by advocating for them in a caring and compassionate manner as their case progresses through the criminal justice system.
