Narcotics Section

The Narcotics Section  concentrates  on mid and upper level drug dealers, as well as repeat offenders of the drug laws.

Narcotics prosecutors are on call seven days a week for consultation with police officers regarding legal issues and search warrant preparations.

The Michigan Department of Corrections currently houses 215 inmates serving life sentences for drug crimes. A clear  indication of our vigilant stance against drug offenders is the fact that more than one-third of  these prison inmates were convicted by Oakland County prosecutors.
