District Court - Procedures

The District Court Division handles all the state law felonies, misdemeanors and civil infractions at the District Court level. For felonies, this encompasses all proceedings through the bindover (transfer) to Circuit Court.

For misdemeanors and civil infractions, this entails the entire prosecution, through conviction and sentencing.
