Administration Division

The Administration Division is broken into three units responsible for providing the central control of the criminal prosecution process while coordinating the accounting, purchasing, personnel and auxiliary services of the office.

Those units include:

Executive Staff Unit
Responsible for management and oversight the Prosecutor's budget, creation and implementation of professional development and training programs, and the direction of liaison activities between other government and law enforcement agencies.

Case Records Department
Management of criminal case files and all incoming and outgoing correspondence is the responsibility of the Case Records Department. With the aid of computers and automated filing equipment, this unit of the Administration Division processes and prepares legal pleadings, controls file traffic, provides case status reports, caseload allocation studies and statistical analysis of individual assistant prosecutor performance.

Victim Services Section
Established initially in response to the need to orient people to the unfamiliar and often confusing criminal justice system and prosecution process, the unit now executes prosecutorial functions required by the Michigan Crime Victim Rights Act and the Michigan Constitution.
