Generally, probate motion/court call is heard on Wednesday or Thursday mornings depending on the judge assigned to the case. Cases may be set at 8:30, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 and 1:30 p.m., depending on the Judge and type of case. Check the Notice of Hearing for your particular matter. The time and date will be listed.
Tuesday Judge - Judge Edward Sosnick generally hears his probate motion/court call on Tuesdays, at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday Judges - Judges Linda Hallmark, Cheryl Matthews, Daniel A. O'Brien, Elizabeth Pezzetti, Kathleen A. Ryan, and Joan Young generally hear their probate motion/court call on Wednesdays.
Thursday Judges - Judge Lisa Gorcyca generally hears her probate motion/court call on Thursdays, at 1:30 p.m.
Friday Judges - Judge Mary Ellen Brennan generally hears her probate motion/court call on Fridays, at 9:30 a.m.
Docket Sheets - Please check the court docket sheets, which are posted on the wall outside the probate counter area. If your case is highlighted you may proceed directly to the courtroom, otherwise, you must first stop at the probate counter to file documents needed for the hearing.
