Sue has been volunteering with us for a long time, and she is a great asset to our team. She comes in on Fridays and works most weekend events! She is the perfect person to show you the ropes if you are a new volunteer!

Volunteers are critical to the success of the Oakland Pet Adoption Center. Here are the following positions where we need volunteers:

Volunteer Application (file size 44k) - Just print it off and bring it with you on a visit to the shelter, and you'll be helping animals before you know it!
Foster Manual & Application- Sometimes we have animals that are either too young, sick or injured to be put up for adoption, so we are always looking for people to take care of them until they are ready to find loving homes.
Requirements: We do ask that all volunteers under the age of 18 have parental or adult supervision.
All volunteers must wear:
*Please remember that working with animals can be messy, so don't wear anything you mind getting muddy, hairy and wet.
