"As metro Detroit's homeless animal numbers continue to climb, events like this become increasingly important," said Joanie Toole, spokeswoman for the Oakland Pet Adoption Center. "Howl-O-Ween" is a great opportunity for us to introduce the area's animal lovers to the many beautiful cats, dogs, kittens and puppies that are in need of good homes."
Visitors are invited to bring current pets to the event to "meet" some of the new animlas that will be available for adoption. Visiting pets can enjoy free massages and view new toys, treats and other offerings from venders.
