​The Oakland County Animal Control & Pet Adoption Center currently has the best save rate in Michigan among public open-admission shelters whose intakes are greater than 5,000 animals. OCAC/PAC strives to continue to increase their live release, return to owner, and dog license compliance rates.

 

 Presently, the Oakland County Animal Control & Pet Adoption Center has a 74% live release rate, compared to the state wide live release rate 53%.
