Downtown Ortonville

The Village of Ortonville is situated in north central Oakland County with easy access from M-15.
Mission: To promote the continued revitalization of the business community and support economic potential while preserving historic heritage.
Description: The Village of Ortonville has a unique, historic business district with a close neighborhood feel and acts as the ‘hub’ of semi-rural Brandon Township. The village comprises nearly one square mile in size, and serves as the downtown to Brandon Township, and portions of Groveland and Hadley Townships. Ortonville is an authentic 150 year old village centered around the original Old Mill on Kearsley Creek built in 1856. The Village has been able to retain some of the rural qualities of days gone by while meeting the changes of a rapidly developing area.
