The 1966 Land Use data was created using different methodology than the more current versions. The summaries should not be directly compared to the current summaries.
Also, the summaries below are based on community boundaries as they exist today, not as they existed in 1966. Due to annexation, the boundaries of Rochester, South Lyon, and Pontiac, in particular, are different than they appeared in 1966.
