Below are maps that show the boundaries of the five types of authorities in the State of Michigan that can utilize tax increment financing (TIF) to promote development and redevelopment.  These authority types include:

• Downtown Development Authority (PA 197 of 1975)
• Tax Increment Finance Authority (PA 450 of 1980)
• Local Development Finance Authority (PA 281 of 1986)
• Brownfield Redevelopment Authority PA 381 of 1996)
• Corridor Improvement Authority (PA 280 of 2005)
