The Clinton Green Corridor is an urban river corridor which traces the flow of the Main Branch of the Clinton River from its headwaters in Independence Oaks County Park; through the urban centers of Pontiac, Rochester, Utica and Mt. Clemens; and into Lake St. Clair. Along the way, the river is fed by five major tributaries: Paint Creek, Stony Creek, Red Run, Middle Branch and North Branch. The Clinton River enters Lake St. Clair east of Mt. Clemens through Metro Beach Metro Park.
