2007 Production, Service and Trade Wage and Salary, Survey, Southeast Michigan Region

This survey includes data from 139 companies for over 96 positions from 14 job families, including assembly, production, maintenance, warehouse and distribution and skilled trades. Data for skilled trades personnel is reported for regular and journeyman levels. Data is also reported for supervisors and managers of these employees, including Plant Manager, Materials Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, etc. Along with pay rates, data is gathered on shift premiums, pay differentials for leader classifications, overtime practices for exempt supervisors and unionization rates among the surveyed companies. Data is broken out by company sizes, 5 regions and 4 industry types, including a match for union and non-union companies.
