Bring Local History to the Classroom


                               RECONIZE it; UNDERSTAND it; CARE About it 

This workshop will focus On: 

  • Using local primary sources (documents, maps, photos, artifacts,etc.) in the classroom;
  • Using local history as a window into American History;
  • Doing both of the above in the context of achieving new Michigan Social Studies Curriculum Objectives.
  • Follow up opportunities at future conferences
