Problems Searching for Property/Parcel or Tax Record

This application can only be used to pay current taxes owed to a city, village or township in Oakland County, Michigan or delinquent taxes owed to the Oakland County Treasurer.
 
If you are having problems searching for a property/parcel or tax record, first check to make sure you have entered the property information correctly. There are two blocks of data entry fields, for two different ways of searching for property (see below). In each search option, certain data fields are required for each search. These fields are indicated with an asterisk (*). All information is provided on your Tax Bill. If you no longer have your Tax Bill, use the second option to search by address.
 
When entering a Parcel ID number, do not enter dashes or spaces. When entering street names, do not use punctuation or suffixes such as Rd., St., Ave., etc.
 
If the property is located in Oakland County and the information you entered is correct, but the property is still not found, contact Customer Support at 248-858-1982.

Problems entering credit card billing information

Only Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. Check to make sure the correct credit card information was entered. Required data fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).

Problems entering Tax Payment Amount

Before submitting a payment, you must check the box next to "I verify this is the correct parcel." When entering payment amounts, do not use the dollar sign -- use numbers only. If problems persist, contact Customer Support at 248-858-1982.

Problems using the Application

  1. Invalid Session Error or This page is no longer available

    You cannot use the browser's Back button to return to a previous page within this application. This error message may also indicate that your session has timed out due to inactivity, or that the application is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later, or contact Customer Support at 248-858-1982 for more information.

    If this error occurs when you tried to submit your payment, you can check your Order Status to see if the payment was submitted successfully. You may have to restart the process and submit your payment again.

    To check the status of your payment:

    1. Go to any page in the Oakland County Web site.
    2. Click the "View Cart" link in the upper right corner of the page
    3. Click the "Order Status" link on the right side navigation menu
    4. Enter the Order Number found on the receipt confirmation provided after your tax payment was submitted
    5. Enter the billing name
    6. Order Status will be displayed
  2. Session Timed Out

    This application times out after a period of inactivity. If this error occurs when you tried to submit your payment, you can check your Order Status to see if the payment was submitted successfully. You may have to restart the process and submit your payment again.

    To check the status of your payment:

    2. Click the "View Cart" link in the upper right corner of the page
    3. Click the "Order Status" link on the right side navigation menu

  3. Submission Failed

    This error indicates that the application is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later, or contact Customer Support for more information.
