Reading Ranger Program
Let the Oakland County Parks reward your students for exercising their reading muscles. They earn free passes to Red Oaks or Waterford Oaks Waterparks to exercise their swimming muscles.

Bring science to your school or group with programs that satisfy Michigan Science Framework Objectives. Naturalists conduct a variety of programs for first through twelfth grade students. Call either nature center to schedule a visit. This program is available December through April. |

FIELD TRIPS
Schools can schedule Nature Center Field Trips and tailor the program content to specific topics. Age-appropriate programs that satisfy State of Michigan science benchmarks, are offered for preschool through twelfth grade. Contact either nature center for details.

NATURE DISCOVERY

STARLAB
This portable planetarium can help your group learn about constellations and other astronomy topics. Grounded electricity and an indoor space of 23'x23' (minimum 11' ceiling) are required. You can also request Starlab for your nature center field trip! Call either nature center to schedule your out-of-this-world adventure!
