Picnics



Oakland County Parks has seven locations for special occasions such as company picnics, family reunions, birthday parties and more.

All picnic facilities offer:

  • Shelters & tents for groups of 20 - 1,000
  • Sites can accommodate 20-800+.
  • Large outdoor cooking grills, sand volleyball and horseshoe pits
  • Special packages for Mobile Recreation "fun on wheels" units. Choose from the Puppet Mobile, Festival packages, Bouncer, Dunk Tank and more!

Lookout Lodge is available for rent April through October. Features a fireplace, modern restrooms, deck, scenic overlook, VCR and two overhead TV monitors. Photos of shelter areas.

     Fees:  $300/6 hrs. Monday-Thursday
              $400/6 hrs. Friday-Sunday and holidays
              $75/each additional hour

The Waterford Oaks Activity Center features an open floor plan accommodating 200, plus adjacent bar area, coat room and dance floor.
