Daily pass or annual vehicle permit required (prior to arrival, as permits are not always available at the park)
Orion Oaks' Dog Park offers 14 fenced acres with lake access for dogs to swim, wide-open spaces, woods and fields; drinking water is available on site
Fishing on 90-acre Lake Sixteen; wheelchair-accessible fishing pier at Joslyn Road entrance. Swimming is prohibited. Small boat launch for non-motorized boats
Ten miles of hiking trails, featuring a five-mile Achievement Trail; mountain biking and ungroomed cross-country skiing trails also available
Award-winning wheelchair-accessible fishing dock and 120-foot boardwalk linking two trail systems
Archery deer hunting in a limited area from Oct. 1 - Jan. 1. Michigan DNR rules apply.
Free wood chips pick-up days scheduled throughout the year at Clarkston Road parking lot. Bring shovels, wheelbarrows, buckets, etc. See calendar (Special Events section) for specific dates.
