Get on course -- the Oakland County Parks golf courses are now open! Courses include Glen Oaks in Farmington Hills, Red Oaks in Madison Heights, Springfield Oaks in Davisburg and White Lake Oaks near Waterford.

Springfield Oaks offers an early season special of $5 off greens fees for 18 holes, Monday Sunday, through May 23.  No coupon needed; inquire at Pro Shop.

Lyon Oaks PGA Pro Paul Simpson offers lessons for players of all levels. Ladies Golf Clinics will be held: May 6, 13 & 20; June 5, 12 & 19; July 9, 16 & 23; and August 5, 12 & 19. All clinics take place from 7 - 8 p.m. Cost is $70/clinic. Private lessons are also available.
