2008 Winter Fishing Contests

Monthly contests, January - March
Addison Oaks, Independence Oaks and Orion Oaks

• Park entry fee or annual vehicle permit required
• Anglers must register that day's catch at the boathouse drop box (Addison and Independence) or Lake 16 drop box (Orion Oaks)
• Catch and release is encouraged, however participants may keep the fish if it is a legal catch (see MDNR rules)
• Prizes are awarded at the month's end. Winners receive an Oakland County Parks Family Fun Passbook
• Michigan DNR rules apply; anglers must possess a valid Michigan fishing license
