Couples can say "I do" at the Cohn Amphitheater

The Rubach Sensory Garden provides a perfect spot for photos when you reserve the Cohn Amphitheater.

•  Weddings can be scheduled mid-May through mid-October, provided nature center events do not conflict with the date and time selected. NO indoor alternative space is available.
• The four-hour rental allows time for set-up, the ceremony, and removal of decorations. Rehearsal times must be scheduled in advance.
• Bench style seating accommodates 150 people; an additional 50 people can sit on the lawn (lawn chairs or blankets are not provided). Parking is limited to about 50 cars.
• All decorations must be free standing. (No nails, tacks or pins can be used to attach decorations to the amphitheater structure). Please, no throwing rice, bird seed, etc.
• Payment must be received four weeks prior to the ceremony. Drivers license and phone number must be on the check, made payable to Oakland County Parks and Recreation. No rainchecks or refunds if cancellation is less than 30 days before the wedding.
• There is a small shelter with electricity at the rear of the amphitheater available for your use. Restrooms at the nature center. 
• Sensory Garden is available for photos with Amphitheater rental. Otherwise, a fee is charged. 
• The Amphitheater is a smoke and alcohol-free area.
• Park rules must be followed.
