Patterson and Bullard Announce County Veteran I.D. Card

What:
Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson and Clerk/Register of Deeds Bill Bullard, Jr. will hold a news conference to unveil the Oakland County Veteran Identification Card. Oakland County is home to 73,000 veterans who have served honorably in war and peacetime. Patterson, Bullard and a distinguished veteran will be the featured speakers. As part of the ceremony, Patterson will be the first recipient of an Oakland County Veteran Identification Card. There will be interview opportunities following the event in the auditorium.

Visuals:

Oakland County Veterans Group honor guard; National Anthem singer; Pledge of Allegiance lead by a distinguished veteran; a poster-size veteran identification card; demonstration of veterans receiving their identification cards in real time at the Clerk’s Office; veterans from all Veterans Service Organizations in Oakland County have been invited to attend the announcement wearing their uniforms.
