Pontiac, Michigan -- Oakland County Health Division has added three flu vaccination clinics in time for the holidays. The Health Division recommends individuals get vaccinated to protect themselves and loved ones against the flu before they gather for the holidays. The additional clinic locations are:
• Clarkston High School
6093 Flemings Lake Road, Clarkston
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 3 - 7 p.m.
• Milford High School
2380 S. Milford Rd, Highland
Thursday, Nov. 15, 2:30 - 7 p.m.
• South Lyon High School
1000 N. Lafayette, South Lyon
Monday, Nov. 19, 3 - 7 p.m.
Flu shots are $16. No appointment is necessary. Residents may register and pay online at oakgov.com/health. Visa and MasterCard are only accepted online. Other forms of online payment include Medicare and/or Medicaid or cash at the time of appointment. Flu vaccinations are also available on a walk-in basis. Walk-in payment options include Medicare, Medicaid and cash (no credit cards, checks or money orders). Residents may also register over the phone by calling 248-858-7350 or 248-424-7120.
Vaccines are also available at Health Division offices from noon - 8 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The offices are located at 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Building 34 East, Pontiac; and 27725 Greenfield Road, Southfield. No appointment is necessary and walk-ins are accepted. Walk-in payment options include Medicare, Medicaid and cash (no credit cards, checks or money orders).
