Patterson's Lawyer Calls News Conference About Aug. 10 Crash

Steven M. Potter, the attorney for Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson and his security officer James Cram, will hold a news conference Tuesday morning to release a key piece of information about the County Executive and Cram. They were seriously injured Aug. 10 in Auburn Hills when a VW Passat turned in front of Patterson’s Chrysler 300. The Passat’s passenger also was seriously injured. Patterson was released from McLaren Oakland Hospital Sept. 14 to continue his physical rehabilitation at an undisclosed location in Oakland County. Patterson began two weeks of intensive physical therapy at another facility Monday, Oct. 1, in order to return to the office within an expected two- to four-week time frame. Cram remains hospitalized. Potter, Patterson’s former law partner, is from the Potter, DeAgostino, O'Dea, & Patterson law firm in Auburn Hills.
