The Garden Hotline staff provides answers to Oakland County residents' questions about:

Services offered by the Garden Hotline are:
- Diagnostic assistance
Samples of plant and insect/pest problems can be submitted for identification and management recommendations. Samples can be mailed or brought in directly during our business hours. Avoid mailing samples on Fridays. Diagnostic fee (cash or check only) is $5.00 per visit. - Problem-solving via telephone
Currently questions can be directed to staff Mondays through Thursdays, 8:30 am to 12:00 noon, and 1:00 to 4:30 pm by phoning 248-858-0902. Messages can be left at any time and calls will be returned. If you need immediate assistance, call the MSU Extension Statewide Toll-free Hotline at 888-678-3464. - Problem-solving via e-mail

April through September (growing season): Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 4:30 pm.
