Why did Oakland County create a Mobile Services site?
Oakland County's citizens are increasingly on the move, and County government must be ready to meet the changing needs of the community.  The Mobile Services pilot site allows Oakland County to expand its already robust eGovernment offerings to better serve the growing number of citizens who rely on cell phones and PDAs to access the Internet.  By continuing to break down barriers between citizens and government, Oakland County remains at the forefront of effective government service.
