Broadband Service Coverage Interactive Map Now Available!

Discover the location of broadband services in Oakland County! Oakland County Planning and Economic Development Department, along with the Information Technology Department have developed the Broadband Service Coverage Map, an interactive mapping tool that identifies the approximate location of cable modem, DSL, satellite, and wireless coverage in the County. The tool also contains a list of broadband service providers, along with the services they offer and their Web addresses.
The high-speed data provided in the map was developed in 2003 for Oakland County as part of the LinkMichigan initiative. The purpose of the data is to better understand Oakland Countys telecommunications infrastructure and services, access and constituents needs, and hence acts as a catalyst for improvements in economic development and overall quality of life.
