Talking Books
The Oakland County Library for the Visually and Physically Impaired provides Talking Books along with talking book machines to eligible residents in Oakland County. Loans are made both to individual patrons and to institutions such as nursing homes and senior residences.
Magazines
We can provide you with a list of magazine subscriptions that are available in cassette and braille formats. We will handle all magazine subscriptions for you including cancellations and address changes.
Only a few magazine titles require that tapes be returned. If the magazine has a reversible address label, please return it as soon as you have read it. Simply reverse the address card and send it by free mail. Other magazines may be disposed of as you wish when you have finished with them. There is no charge for these magazines.
