NFB-Newsline® is a free service that provides automatic "Talking Newspapers" over your telephone via a toll-free number. Easy to use, Newsline is ready with each day's latest edition usually by 8:00 AM. You can use the service to read your favorite newspapers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Newsline offers 3 Michigan newspapers and more than 150 national and regional papers. The Flint Journal, the Lansing state Journal and the Detroit Free Press are available each day. You may also select from such newspapers as USA Today, Washington Post, and the New York Times, and Wall Street Journal. In addition, 3 magazines are available including the AARP Magazine.

National Federation of the Blind
Founded in 1940, the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is the nation's largest and most influential membership organization of blind persons. With fifty thousand members, the NFB has affiliates in all fifty states plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, and over seven hundred local chapters. As a consumer and advocacy organization, the NFB is considered the leading force in the blindness field today.

Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic
For 60 years, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D), a national nonprofit, volunteer organization, has been the leading producer of accessible educational materials for students with disabilities such as visual impairment or dyslexia that make reading standard print difficult or impossible. With titles available in every subject area and grade level from kindergarten through graduate studies, RFB&D’s digitally recorded textbooks are effective learning tools for students challenged by the printed page.
