	Oakland County has been recognized in 2012 as being one of ten city, county and state governments as the country's leaders in the innovative application of Web 2.0 technologies and civic/social media tools by the Public Technology Institute (PTI).
	Oakland County's G2G Cloud Solutions and Property Gateway were both awarded with the 2012 Digital Government Achievement Award from the Center for Digital Government.
	Oakland County was ranked second in the nation by the Center for Digital Government in their 2012 Digital Counties Survey.
	Oakland County received 2012 Achievement Awards for Transparency Dashboard and Best of Category for G2G Cloud Solutions from the National Association of Counties.
	Deputy County Executive/CIO, Phil Bertolini received the 2012 White House Champions of Change Award and was also a finalist in Crain’s Detroit CIO of the Year.

	Oakland County received 2010 Achievement Awards for the Cost Reduction/Investment Blog, Cross-Boundary Email/Texting Alert Network, Health and Human Services Communication Portal (HHSCP), and Personal Property eFile from the National Association of Counties.
	Oakland County has been named the most digitally advanced county in America by the Center for Digital Government and the National Association of Counties (NACo) in their 2009 Digital Counties Survey. The 2009 Digital Counties Survey is an annual study by the Center and NACo which identifies best practices and recognizes those counties with exemplary digital service to their citizens.
	Oakland County was awarded the 2009 Best Application Serving a Public Organization award for its *Cost Reduction/Investment Blog, by the State of Michigan and Government Technology Magazine. In addition, the Oakland County Video Center* also won an award for the 2009 Best Application Serving the Public.
	Oakland County has won two international 2009 Digital Government Achievement Awards from the Center for Digital Government for our Video Center and Blogin’ Café.

	The Center for Digital Government recognized Oakland County's OakVideo with a 2006 Digital Government Achievement Award. Oakland County was also named as a 2006 Best of the Web County Portal Finalist by the Center for Digital Government.
	Oakland County was ranked 4th in the country by the Center for Digital Government in their 2006 Digital Counties Survey. Oakland County was also ranked in the Top Ten Digital Governments for 2005.
	Oakland County's OakVideo digital arraignment system was named a 2006 CIO Magazine Top 100 Award Honoree.
	2006 Achievement Awards, awarded by the National Association of Counties, were given to Oakland County's Criminal Justice Data Warehouse and the Department of Information Technology's Identity and Access Management Program.
	2005 Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties were given to the Oakland County CLEMIS Community CrimeWatch law enforcement Web site program and the OakSource enterprise portal and employee self-service human resources system.
	Michigan Excellence in Technology Visionary Award, was awarded to Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson by the State of Michigan for leading Oakland County into a time of unprecedented and robust economic growth, using technology as a primary tool in the way Oakland County provides government services.
