This Division provides IT development services to all of Oakland County departments and many cities, villages and townships within Oakland County. The staff is educated and has working experience in all areas of application development and systems implementation.
This Division is responsible for development of new applications, enhancements to existing applications, and support and maintenace of both Oakland County developed software and purchased software. The current portfolio of applications is based on several technology platforms including mainframe, client/server, World Wide Web and personal computers. Many of the applications are fully integrated with other applications running on the same or disparate platforms. Integration is real time updating and/or batch updating, which is determined by business needs.
Support and maintenance is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
