How to Register for Instructor-Led Training Courses
Prior to registering for instructor-led training courses, check with your organization to ensure Oakland County has received billing information and authorization for payment.
To register for instructor-led training, complete the Instructor-Led Course Registration Form and submit it to Oakland County HR Training by mail or fax. Contact information can be found on the registration form.
Keep in mind that submission of the Instructor-Led Course Registration Form does not guarantee a reserved space in the class session requested. Participants are registered on a first come, first served basis. If space is available in the requested session, HR Training will send an e-mail to registered participants three weeks prior to the course session to confirm enrollment.
Cancellation Policies and Procedures
Organizations will be billed for individuals who are enrolled and confirmed in the class. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy and Procedure for detailed information on our Cancellation Policy, Enrollment Statuses and Billing Procedures.
It is the policy of Oakland County to cancel course sessions two weeks prior to the course date when the number of confirmed participants has not reached the minimum number of participants required to run the course. Individuals enrolled in training will be notified of course cancellations via the email address included on their Classroom-Based Course Registration Form. The status of individuals cancelled from training courses due to low enrollment will appear on the detail attached to the monthly invoices as 'Cancelled'.
It is the responsibility of the employee requesting training to inform their supervisor of training dates and costs. We are unable to confirm authorization for payment of each course session prior to individual enrollments.
