Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program

The WIC (Women's Infant & Children) Supplemental Food Program helps low-income pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants and children under age five eat right to ensure healthy pregnancies and proper growth of infants and children.

WIC provides:
  • Coupons for free foods
  • Nutrition education
  • Referrals to other services
Eligibility Guidelines
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Infants and children under age five
  • Live in Oakland County
  • Have low to middle income (see income guidelines to the left)
  • Medically or nutritionally at risk

How to apply for WIC
You must schedule an appointment to apply or discuss eligibility. Initial appointments will take approximately 1-2 hours.
