Food Service License Application allows restaurant owners with establishments in Oakland County to renew licenses.

Septic Application allows homeowners or contractors to submit applications for septic permits.

Well Application allows homeowners or contractors to submit applications for well permits.

Well Log System for registered Well Drilling Contractors and Pump Installers to submit electronic well log records  There is no fee for this service.


Child Health Clinics (CHC) Well-care for children from  families in Oakland County that do not have Medicaid or an HMO. Children must be enrolled by 2 years of age.

Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program Provides educational materials, inservice/consultation, evaluation of the home environment, case management, referrals, and access to a HEPA vacuum for lead dust clean up. 

Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) Help for families of children with chronic health problems or disabilities.

Dental Dental services for low-income residents with no dental insurance.

Emergency Preparedness Helps protect the public's health and safety by preparing for all types of emergencies such as natural disasters, disease outbreaks and/or chemical spills. 

Environmental Health Services:


Epidemiology Unit Promotes public health through disease surveillance, prevention programs, and community education.

Health Education Consultation, presentations and resource materials on health topics.

Hearing & Vision School screenings and by appointment for residents.

HIV/AIDS Confidential, anonymous counseling & testing and referrals.

Immunizations For infants, toddlers, preschoolers, children, teens and adults.

Infant Health Promotion Services promote healthy babies, safe pregnancies and reduce infant mortality disparities.

Nurse-Family Partnership Nurse Home Visitor works with moms in Pontiac who are having their first babies.

Nurse on Call Opportunity to call public health nurse to ask health-related questions.

Nutrition Services   Information and referrals, counseling, speakers, classes and resource material on nutrition topics.

Older Adult Services Telephone and home visits, information and referrals, counseling and outreach.

Public Health Nursing Counseling, teaching, and home and school visits.

School Health Services School health topics including immunization, communicable disease and medication administration.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases Testing and diagnosis, treatment and counseling.

Substance Abuse Services Treatment services for Medicaid and uninsured citizens; prevention services and resources for the community at large.

Tuberculosis Testing, treatment and counseling.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program Serves low-income pregnant or breast-feeding women, infants and children under age five with health or nutrition needs.
