Oakland County Health Division Flu Shots 2009-2010

Oakland County Health Division is currently out of seasonal flu vaccine. Please check the website or call the Flu Hotline at 800-434-3358 for updates.


OFFICE CLINIC LOCATIONS AND HOURS

Flu shots are available at Oakland County Health Division offices:
  • Pontiac:  1200 N. Telegraph Rd., in the Oakland County Complex, Bldg. 34 East (map)
  • Walled Lake:  1010 E. West Maple Rd. at Pontiac Trail (map)
  • Southfield: 27725 Greenfield Rd at Catalpa (map)

Clinic hours for flu shots are Monday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.


COST/PAYMENT


Newly reduced price of only $10.00

Payment Options: Only cash, Medicare or Medicaid are accepted.



WHAT TO BRING FOR QUICK AND EASY SERVICE

  • $10.00 cash, exact change, if possible
  • All insurance cards
  • Photo identification with current address
  • Wear a short sleeve shirt or shirt with a sleeve that can be rolled to the top of your arm



WHO CAN GET THE FLU SHOT?


Flu vaccine is not recommended for people who are allergic to eggs or flu vaccine; had a serious reaction to flu vaccine in the past; previously developed Guillain-Barre syndrome within six weeks of getting a flu shot; or who have a fever.

Look for novel influenza A (H1N1) vaccine in the coming weeks. Continue to check this website or call the Health Division's flu shot hotline at 1-800-434-3358 for updated information.
