Oakland County's Advanced Electronics industry is focused on: biotechnology and medical devices, defense and military, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, aerospace electronics, telecommunications, and computer engineering.
Over 26% of Michigan's computer and electronic product manufacturers are located in Oakland County. At least 130 electronics-related companies in Oakland County employ over 4,500 people.
