The GIS Utility welcomes Emily Apsey to join the team as a User Support Specialist II. Emily was recently employed at Wade-Trim where she served as a GIS Analyst. She has worked with various local government GIS user groups such as Public Utility, Public Safety, Assessing and Equalization, and Planning. Emilys GIS professional portfolio includes projects such as GIS Public Utility Conversion, Public Utility Master Planning, GIS Needs Assessment and Implementation, and various rehabilitation projects contracted with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. While being in the GIS industry, Emily has also served as the primary GIS training instructor to local governmental entities. At Oakland County, Emily will be working with the Drain Commissioner to help assist in GIS implementation.
