The new Digital Flood Elevation Maps (DFIRMs) will be effective soon. On the new maps, the floodplains surrounding 5 streams in Troy will be shown as they are on the current DFIRMs. There are new studies in these areas, and FEMA is working to incorporate the new studies as quickly as possible. The remaining areas of Troy will contain the new floodplain delineation. The impacted streams are shown in the table below.
