The Facilities Engineering (FE) division is responsible for Project Management for major construction and renovation projects undertaken by the County.
It oversees the cost estimating and control, planning, design, construction, inspections and testing of new County-owned facilities, roads, parking lots, and utilities.
FE staff also oversees the work of various vendors contracted to perform these projects. The division also prepares the five-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), forecasts future County space needs, and prepares the Facility Master Plan.
