Cobo II: An Oakland County Perspective

Cobo II Work GroupThis independent study of the Cobo Hall project has been conducted to help to ensure that the Oakland County residents and businesses understand the costs and benefits to be obtained through the construction of a new convention center (termed as "Cobo II") or the expansion of the existing center.

Business issues facing several alternatives under consideration and areas of Cobo Hall project are defined. In light of the significant competing fiscal needs of projects such as water/sewer, transit, roads, health care, and education, the County's residents and businesses deserve an independent review of the Cobo Hall project.
