Cobo Hall: Patterson Plan to Fund Cobo Hall Expansion

The Patterson Plan for the Cobo Hall expansion is being put forth in an effort to facilitate discussion on this important State resource.

As cited in previous reports, correspondence and public appearances of Oakland County's Executive, L. Brooks Patterson, the need for an expanded exhibit hall is a prerequisite for the retention of the North American International Auto Show.

While Oakland County recognizes the desirability for the expansion, it can only be accomplished in a cost effective manner if there is a statewide consensus to support the facility.
