Role: As Deputy County Executive, Rogers oversees the operation of seven departments, including Media and Communications, Public Services, Central Services, South Oakland Liaison, Facilities Management, Solid Waste and Cultural Affairs.

Past President, Oakland County Chamber of Commerce.
Oakland County Achievements:
In January 1993, Rogers was appointed by Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson to serve as Director of the Department of Community & Economic Development. In that capacity, Rogers' responsibilities included three divisions: Community Development, Development & Planning, and Equalization.
Personal:
Rogers received his B.S. degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. He was the former co-owner of Evans and Associates Incorporated, an Oakland County Real Estate and Development Company, and was one of the founders of Oakland County's Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
